And In Re : Netai Singha @ Nitai Singha .... petitioner Mr. Kallol Mondal, Mr. Amanul Isam, Mr. Sourav Mukherjee ....for the petitioner Mr. Swapan Banerjee, Mr. Suman De ...... for the State Mr. Mondal, learned advocate for the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which the proceedings are progressing before the learned Trial Court. Learned advocate draws the attention of this Court to the order dated 19.07.2021 and submits that at the relevant point of time the courts were operating in a staggered manner.

Mr. Suman De, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State pursuant to a direction passed by this Court for effecting service upon him.

Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is in custody for almost one year four months, I direct the learned Trial Court to proceed with the trial of the case fixing schedules at regular intervals as the Court deems fit and proper.

It is further directed that any resolution of the Bar will not operate in this case. In case any lawyer refuses to participate in the trial on behalf of the accused, the learned Trial Court will be

at liberty to engage any lawyer from the Legal Services Authority and proceed with the trial of the case.

All efforts must be taken by the learned Trial Court to complete the trial within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, C.R.R. 2205 of 2021 is disposed of.
