Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that issuance of warrant, proclamation and attachment against the petitioner was completed on 14th March, 2020.

In view of the aforesaid fact and the prima facie material connecting the petitioner with the alleged crime, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to him. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

It is, however, open to the petitioner to appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within a fortnight from date and in the event, the petitioner does so, the trial court may consider the same in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the dismissal of this application.
