The writ petitioner is aggrieved that despite FIR No. 340 of 2022 dated 24th June, 2022 under Sections 498A/420/323/406/34 of the IPC, the Belghoria Police Station has not proceeded with the investigation effectively. The FIR was registered after orders from the learned ACJM, Barrackpore under Section 156(3) of the Cr. P. C.

In the aforesaid circumstances, this Court directs the Belghoria Police Station to complete investigation and file report in final form before the ACJM, Barrackpore within two months from date. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
