Mr. Mitter, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is suffering long incarceration for more than five years, six months and there is also no possibility towards early conclusion of the trial. In view thereof, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail on any stringent condition.

Mr. Datta, learned Advocate appearing for the State, opposes the petitioner's prayer and submits upon instruction that the matter has been fixed for arguments in the month of January, 2022.

Having heard the learned Advocates and considering the stage of the trial, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

However, the learned Court below is directed to conclude the trial within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The application for bail, being CRM No. 6920 of 2021, is, accordingly, disposed of.
