Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. He is in custody for about 853 days.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statements of the witnesses recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicating the petitioner in the murder.

Under such circumstances and as his bail prayer was rejected earlier, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
