The petitioner is a Science Teacher of Maheswarpur Siva Durga Samity High School, Badu, P.S.:

Madhyamgram, District: 24 Parganas (North).

The petitioner applied for general transfer under the 'Utsashree Portal' inter alia on the grounds that he has a small kid to look after and that he has to travel a long distance to attend the school, his application was returned with the remarks that he is a single subject teacher. This Court does not find any reason to interfere with the impugned decision, besides the portal is under suspension.

WPA 16721 of 2022 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
