Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. From the tenor of the police report which has been submitted before this Court, I find that police authorities have expressed their willingness to register FIR, but since the petitioner did not turn up, according to the police authorities, they were unable to register FIR.

The grievance of the petitioner is that no steps were taken pursuant to the information dated 22.06.2025 which was sent by Speed Post with A/D on 23.06.2025 to the concerned police station. Having considered that in an unnatural circumstances the son of the petitioner allegedly had to terminate his life, I am of the view that police authorities will consider the subject-matter of the case with a human face. As such, the police authorities would treat the information dated 22.06.2025 as the basis of foundation of

registration of an FIR and thereafter proceed with the investigation of the case.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 16535 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
