Mr. Bidyut Kumar Roy, along with Ms.. Manisha Sharma, learned Counsels, appear for the State. Their appointment may be regularized in due course. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for quashing of the proceeding in G.R. No. 353 of 2011 arising out of FIR No. 142 dated 17.04.2011 under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

On perusal of the application, the impugned Order and other materials on record, it appears that exercise of jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the instant revisional application stands dismissed on merit.
