Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Ms. Ratna Ghosh, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities. Mr. Datta Gupta, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which the proceedings are progressing before the learned trial court.

I find that the case was instituted in the year 2017 and there were allegations of trespassing and alleged commission of injuries being inflicted.

Record reflects that on the earlier occasions date was fixed for evidence of CSWs. 1 and 2.

Having regard to the prayer so advanced by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the fact that

almost 6 years have lapsed since the case was instituted, the learned trial court would, in the fitness of the circumstances, be pleased to fix at least a schedule consisting of two dates which would be fixed on each and every three months so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties. All efforts must be taken by the prosecution so that all the witnesses are present on the date so fixed. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2679 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
