The application for bail is made on the ground that commercial quantity of Codeine Mixture (2.3 liters) was not actually recovered from the petitioner.

Counsel for the State produces the case diary which clearly indicates that the Codeine Mixture was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

In that view of the matter, the application for bail being CRM 6982 of 2021 stands rejected.

However, the Court below is directed to expedite the trial and complete the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within the period prescribed under the Statute.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
