Though the petitioner is seeking release on bail in connection with Raninagar P.S. Case No.36 / 2021 dated 20.01.2021 under Sections 21(c )/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985, the learned Advocate for the petitioner submits for direction upon the Learned Trial Court to expedite the trial.

Having heard the learned Advocate for the parties and in consideration of the commercial quantity of the contraband seized from the petitioner, the prayer for his release on bail is refused. However, the learned Judge, Special Court would undertake the trial as expeditiously as possible. CRM 7006 of 2021 is dismissed.
