However, the connection was restored upon receipt of ₹3,33,000/- from the petitioner on July 18, 2025. It appears that as of the present date, there remains an outstanding amount of ₹3,39,631/-.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner intends to clear the outstanding dues by September 2025.

In view of the above, there is no justification to keep this writ petition pending. The petitioner is directed to pay the outstanding dues of ₹3,39,631/- by September 30, 2025.

The electricity connection shall not be disconnected until September 30, 2025. In the event of non-payment

within the stipulated time, WBSEDCL shall be at liberty to disconnect the electricity line.

It is further clarified that the petitioner shall continue to pay the current electricity bills as they fall due. Accordingly, WPA 16039 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
