The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to a quarrel over the issue of throwing garbage in the pathway of the petitioner, a false complaint has been lodged against the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the State has produced the case diary.

The injury is grievous in nature.

Considering the materials available in the case diary, the statement of the victim as well as independent witnesses and the fact that the petitioner is intimidating the witnesses as revealed from the case diary, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
