....For the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that she is the mother-in-law of the victim housewife and has been falsely implicated in the instant case. It is further submitted that investigation is complete.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the petitioner along with other accused persons have strangulated the victim and thrown her body in the pond.

We have considered the statements of the witnesses recorded in course of investigation. Prima facie material shows the role of the petitioner in torturing the victim housewife and participating in her murder.

Having considered the materials in the case diary and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
