1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Petitioner made an application for transfer on general ground (distance) on 10th April, 2025 and the school authority where petitioner is presently working issued 'no objection' on such transfer application. It is also submitted on behalf of the petitioner that transfer application was forwarded by the school authority to the District Inspector of Schools (SE) Paschim Medinipur being respondent no. 9. However, such submission is disputed by Mr. Vaisya, learned Additional Government Pleased representing the State respondents. It is submitted on behalf of State respondents that school authority has not forwarded the transfer application as a result whereof steps could not be taken on said transfer application.

3. Board and West Bengal Central School Service Commission are represented by learned advocates.

4. Respondent no. 10 is directed to forward transfer application of the petitioner to the respondent no. 9 by 7 (seven) days from date of communication of this order, if till date transfer application has not been forwarded to respondent no. 9 by the school authority. On receipt of transfer application same shall be processed by respondent no. 9 by fortnight thereafter and shall forward the same to the Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission being respondent no. 6 by 7 (seven) days thereafter.

5. On receipt of transfer application respondent no. 6 shall decide the same in accordance with law by 8 (eight) weeks thereafter and decision to be communicated to the petitioner by 10 days thereafter.

6. It is made clear that entire process shall be completed in offline mode and suspension of portal shall not be a ground to reject transfer application

7. Writ petition stands disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings. (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.)
