1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record.

2. Learned counsel for the CESC Limited files an inspection report, which indicates that due to the worn-out condition of the existing meter room, the electricity connection cannot be given to the petitioner there. However, the CESC Limited is willing and agreeable to give a new connection to the petitioner, subject to the petitioner paying shifting charges for shifting the existing arrangement to another meter room, which is in serviceable condition. The said inspection report be kept on record.

3. In such view of the matter, WPA No. 16305 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the CESC Limited to raise a quotation intimating the

petitioner as to the necessary costs to be borne by the petitioner for having a new electricity connection, including shifting charges. Such quotation shall be issued within a week from date.

4. Upon the petitioner complying with all formalities and paying the due charges, the electricity connection shall be given to the petitioner accordingly by the CESC Limited, positively with a fortnight from the date of compliance of such formalities by the petitioner.

5. There will be no order as to costs.
