The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Purba Gobtala Naiyapara Free Primary school, a school under the D.P.S.C., South 24 Parganas, the respondent no. 6 herein.

The petitioner is praying for a general transfer on the ground that he is a surplus teacher of his school. The representation of the petitioner to the said effect is pending consideration before the Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no.6 herein. The said representation dated June 13, 2025 forms part of the writ petition, being Annexure 'P-5'.

The respondent no.6 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law. The Writ petition being WPA 16191 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
