The petitioner claims that he has been appointed to the post of Office Assistant at Medinipore College, Rajabazar, District - Paschim Medinipur following the applicable recruitment rules.

The petitioner has made a representation before the Director of Public Instruction, West Bengal seeking approval of his appointment to the said post.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite making such representation, no step has so far been taken by the Director of Public Instruction, West Bengal.

In that view of the matter, I dispose of this writ petition directing the Director of Public Instruction, West Bengal to consider the representation

appearing at page 21 of the writ petition within two months from the date of communication of this order.

The reasoned order should be communicated to the writ petitioner within one week thereafter. Accordingly, WPA 16309 of 2023 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
