The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities particularly with regard to the occupants with whom he is in a strained relation because of the suit pending against them. It has been alleged that the private respondents are dangerous and dreadful in nature and had been carrying out their illegal activities. To that extent, the petitioner informed the Superintendent of Police, Purba Bardhaman. However, no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Title Suit No. 80/2016 was disposed of with directions upon the private respondents to vacate the suit premises.

Since the Inspector-in-Charge, Katwa Police Station was not referred to and direct communication was made to the Superintendent of Police, I direct that in case the petitioner is faced with inconveniences, he would complain to the Inspector-in-Charge, Katwa Police Station. The Inspector-in-Charge, Katwa Police Station would ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place at the locale and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 17234 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
