1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner has been falsely implicated due to political reason. In any event, as per the FIR there was hardly any role ascribed to the present petitioner.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She relies on the injury report of a victim, the seizure list for seizure of CCTV footage and two empty cartridges from the place of occurrence. It is alleged that shots were fired by the assailants. Subsequently, a pistol was recovered from a co-accused who was arrested.

3. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary including the statements of witnesses and the

seizure list, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
