Dag No.1461, R. S. Khatian No.207, Touzi No.3027, District - 24 Parganas (North).

It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite making several representations, no step has been taken by Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation.

Respondent no.5 is not represented despite service.

Learned advocate appearing for Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation submits that the representations have not been addressed to the appropriate authority. He submits that it is the Commissioner of the Corporation who has the authority to deal with the allegation.

In the aforesaid facts, I grant liberty upon the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the Commissioner, Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation

against the alleged unauthorised construction undertaken by respondent no.5.

If any such representation is made within a period of two weeks from date, the same shall be considered by the Commissioner, Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation in accordance with law within a period of three months thereafter giving due opportunity of hearing to all concerned including respondent no.5.

Accordingly, WPA 17246 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of usual legal formalities.
