1. Report filed by the State in Court today be kept with the records.

2. It appears that charge has been framed. October 3, 2024, has been fixed as the date for recording of evidence. We are told that there are 11 charge-sheet named witnesses.

3. In view of the prima facie incriminating material against the petitioner, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

4. The application being CRM (DB) 2119 of 2024 is accordingly dismissed.

5. However, considering that the petitioner is in custody since January 5, 2024, we direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the fullest extent possible and conclude the same Signed By :

at an early date and definitely within nine months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence.
