Leave is granted to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner to amend the cause title.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the next date before the learned trial court is fixed on 22.01.2024 for framing of charges.

The learned trial court would on the next date complete the process of consideration of charges.

The allegations in the present case are under Sections 376/420/506 of the Indian Penal Code and the same is pending since the complainant initiated the case in the year 2021. Having regard to the fact that more than one and a half years have expired and 19 witnesses are to be examined in this particular case, learned trial court would take steps so that after the charges are considered and framed, dates are fixed by way of a schedule consisting of three dates. Such schedule may be fixed once in every two months so that trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties.

The State would ensure production of materials, exhibits and documents on the dates fixed for examination of the witnesses.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2530 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
