Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner's application for electrification of the submersible pump of the petitioner has not been acceded to by the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) on the ground of non feasibility on techno economical aspect of the matter.

Learned counsel for the WBSEDCL places reliance on an Office Order dated May 5, 2012 issued by the WBSEDCL, which contemplates that, if cost of the said scheme for effecting such service connection, where erection and commissioning of new distribution Sub-station is required, is recovered within four years, the

scheme may be done at the WBSEDCL's cost.

Intending consumer will pay the service connection charge as per Procedure-A.

Let the Office Order dated May 5, 2012 filed in Court be kept on record.

Since learned counsel for the petitioner, on instruction, submits that the petitioner is agreeable to pay such charges pertaining to the said Office Order for the installation of 24 poles, which, according to the WBSEDCL, are required for the project, WPA No. 16347 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to raise an estimate for such installation and serve the same within a week from date on the petitioner. Upon such service being effected, the petitioner shall pay the required expenses and, upon compliance of all other formalities for getting the new connection, WBSEDCL will give such connection as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two months from the date of compliance of all formalities by the petitioner positively.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the

parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
