The petitioner is granted liberty to apply in the prescribed form and online mode, if the petitioner rectified the deficiencies pointed out in the notice dated April 25, 2024, which is Annexure - P/2 at Page 18 of the writ petition, namely,

1. Submersible pump was not installed.

2. Earthing not completed.

3. Incomplete construction.

4. Location of meter and meter box not identified and finalized.

5. Wiring not completed.

Upon the authorities being satisfied that the petitioner had fulfilled the necessary requirements and had complied with other formalities and if the application is in order, connection shall be granted within two months from all such compliances. The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited shall do the needful upon receiving the

uploaded copy of the online application and upon causing an inspection in order to ascertain whether the steps had been taken by the petitioner.

Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
