Mr. Biswabrata Basu Mallick Mr. Biman Halder Mr. Amman Arif Ansari ....for the Private Respondent Ms. Sreemoyee Mitra ....for the CESC Limited It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in view of the subsequent events which have transpired after the filing of the petition and the earlier order of the Court, the petitioner has practically complied with all formalities for obtaining a separate electricity connection.
In view of the above, nothing survives in the writ petition, WPA 16353 of 2025 stands disposed of. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the Court, if the subsequent events so warrant. The CESC Limited is directed to act in terms of the earlier orders of Court and provide the electricity connection within a period of two weeks after compliance with all necessary formalities including the filling up of Annexure-B Online. The private respondent is represented. It is made clear that the order will not create any equity
insofar as the pending civil disputes by the between the petitioner and the private respondent are concerned.
