Mr. Arnab Saha, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the petitioner and submits that the subject matter of the revisional application relates to the order dated 3.7.2018 passed by the learned Judge, Second Special Court under NDPS Act, Berhampore in connection with NDPS Case No.06 of 2018 arising out of Lalgola Police Station Case No.620 of 2017 dated 25.12.2017 and section 21(c)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr. Bitasok Banerjee, learned advocate, is directed to appear in this matter on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

On an appreciation of the contentions advanced in the revisional application as well as the prayer advanced therein, I am

of the opinion that the relevance of the revisional application by passage of time has been diluted.

As prayed for, the revisional application being CRR 2359 of 2018 is dismissed as infructuous.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
