C.R.R. No.2083 of 2019 D/L 23 April 1, Bpg.

In Re: An application under Section 482 read with Sections 401 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure; Bhavya Lakhmani

Versus

Dev Kumar Bose & Anr.

Mr. Prashant Bishal.

...for the petitioner.

Affidavit-of-service so filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

prayer has been advanced on behalf of the complainant/petitioner for expeditious disposal of the proceedings arising out of Complaint Case No.C-909/2003 (T.R No.597/03) which is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 10th Court, Alipore.

In view of the fact that the complaint case was started in the year 2003 and more than 19 years have passed in the meantime, I find that there is much substance in the contention advanced by the learned advocate for the petitioner. Learned Magistrate is directed to keep this record as priority and fix at least one date on each and every 15 days till the trial is taken to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2083 of 2019 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
