Petitioner is in custody for 525 days.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there are eye-witnesses implicating the petitioner in the alleged murder.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses implicate the petitioner in the alleged murder. In view of the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime and as his prayer for bail was rejected repeatedly by co-ordinate benches of this court, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
