1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased wife. She had been murdered at the matrimonial home. Thereafter petitioner absconded for 14 years.

3. In view of the gravity of the offence and his conduct, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The application for bail, is thus rejected.
