The order passed by the Additional Secretary, Panchayats and Rural Development Department dated 20th July, 2023 is placed before this Court.

It appears therefrom that the prayer of the petitioner for appointment has been rejected. The petitioner is aggrieved by the same.

I am afraid that the legality of the order passed by the Additional Secretary cannot be gone into or adjudicated in the contempt application.

It will be open for the petitioner to challenge the same in a fresh proceeding before the appropriate forum in accordance with law, if so advised.

The contempt petition stands disposed of.

The order dated 20th July, 2023 be retained with the records.

Affidavit-of-service is taken on record.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
