Md. Kuddus Ali v. The State Of West Bengal And ORS.
WPA 16336 of 2025 Sl.No.
30.07.2025 Court No. 35 G.S.Das Md. Kuddus Ali -VsThe State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Golam Masafa Mr. T. Samanta Mr. K. A. Iqbal Mr. A. Rahman ... for the Petitioner(s) Ms. Rupsha Chakraborty Ms. Mohuya Dutta Biswas ... for the State-respondent(s) Mr. Animesh Mukherjee Md. Abdul Alim ... for the private respondent(s) Re The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his prayer for police assistance was not considered by the Superintendent of Police, Murshidabad.
State has submitted a report which reflects that there has been regular litigation between the petitioner and the private respondents. The police authorities on enquiry have arrived at their conclusion that both the parties are involved in cultivation and there are no complaint against each of them.
Having considered the issue of disturbance in the cultivation work as well as harvesting of crops, I direct that the police authorities would oversee that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place as also no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents, in case any dispute arises relating to the representation which was advanced before the Superintendent of Police, Murshidabad.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16336 of 2025 is disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
