The present writ petition has been filed seeking electricity connection for the petitioner's submersible pump set.

The learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) submits that the petitioner has not yet constructed the meter room and has also not undertaken the boring work required for installation of the submersible pump set.

The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that the aforesaid tasks shall be completed within a period of two (2) weeks from the date.

In view of the above facts, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the WBSEDCL to provide the electricity connection within a period of

three (3) months from the date of completion of the meter room construction and the boring work.

The petitioner shall also submit the necessary way leave permission.

Let the instruction submitted by the WBSEDCL be retained with the record.
