Abdul Kader Mondal v. The State
23.08.2022 S/L No.64 KS C.R.R. 2246 of 1999 Abdul Kader Mondal -Vs.- The State of West Bengal Ms. Monisha Sharma .....For the State The present revisional application was preferred for cancellation of bail in respect of an order dated 12th July, 1999 passed by the Learned Sessions Judge, Birbhum in Criminal Misc. Case No.309 of 1999 relating to Murarai Police Station Case No.20 of 1999 dated 27.02.1999 under Sections 498A and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. As none appeared on behalf of the State, Ms. Monisha Sharma, learned advocate who ordinarily represents on behalf of the State is directed to represent the case. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned authority.
Records of the revisional application reflect that the same has not been admitted till date and having regard to the fact that the subject-matter of challenge related to an order dated 12th July, 1999 and more than 22 years have passed in connection with the order of cancellation of bail, I am of the opinion that no interference can be made, at this belated stage. Accordingly, C.R.R. 2246 of 1999 is dismissed. Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
All parties are directed to act on the server copy of this order downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court.
