Petitioner is aggrieved that in spite of complaints addressed to Maipith Police Station no steps have been taken and petitioner is suffering as the police authorities attached to the said police station are restraining them from carrying out the fishery at the canal which he claims was allotted to him by the government authorities.

I have considered that the contents in the writ petition which refers to involvement of certain police officials as has been alleged, the correctness of the same may be considered by the Superintendent of Police, Baruipur Police District with whom a representation was submitted on 26.06.2024.

Let such representation be considered within a period of 6 weeks.

A notice be issued to all the affected parties. They may be given an audience in respect of the issues which have been canvassed and thereafter within a period of 2 weeks from the date of conclusion of the hearing the outcome be communicated to them.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 17318 of 2024 is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
