After hearing learned counsel appearing for the parties, the writ petition may be disposed of together with CAN 1 of 2022 by directing the LICI to consider the representations made by the petitioner, the last being 21st July, 2020 and dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date on which the petitioner furnishes the documents as required by the LICI. The LICI shall inform the petitioner of the documents required within a week from date. The LICI shall also hear the petitioner and pass a reasoned order within four weeks from the date of which such document is received and shall furnish a copy of the reasoned order to the petitioner within a week from the date of which such decision is taken. If the petitioner's claim is found to be in order, the respondent no.3 being The Branch Manager, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Divisional K.S.D.O., Krishnagar, Nadia shall disburse the amount of the petitioner within two weeks from which such reasoned order is made available to the petitioner. W.P.A.17516 of 2021 and CAN 1 of 2022 are accordingly disposed of.
