Imtiyaz Alam ..... petitioner Mr. Debajyoti Deb Mr. Shyamal Mondal Mr. Chandan Mondal ... for the petitioner Mr. Madhu Sudan Sur, learned APP Mr. Manoranjan Mahata ... for the State Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 500 days. It is further submitted that he has been falsely implicated in the instant case. Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes prayer for bail. He submits petitioner is a member of a gang which broke into ATM counters and stole cash. He has been identified in the course of test identification parade.
We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner has criminal antecedents. He was shown arrested in the present case. Soon thereafter he was identified by two persons in test identification parade.
In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials, gravity of the offence and criminal antecedents of the petitioner, we are not inclined in granting bail to the petitioner at this stage.
