Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as the information which was furnished was not acted upon.

State, on the other hand, has submitted a report which reflects that on the basis of the information furnished, Bagnan Police Station Case No.458 of 2025 dated 26.07.2025 has been registered for investigation.

Since police case has already been registered, police authorities would oversee that further untoward incidents do not take place.

Police authorities would also take the investigation to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16438 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
