Mr. Shamim Ul Bari ...for the petitioner The petitioner applied for reassessment of her marks in Bengali, English, Life Science and History for the year 2016, Secondary Education conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

There is no provision of reassessment of marks under the rules of the Board. With the passage of time, rights if at all, of the petitioner have been extinguished since the marksheets are not required to be retained beyond the period of 6+3 months by the Board. In those circumstances, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs.
