A sum of Rs.2,55,000/- has already been deposited before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore. The petitioner would continue the payments on monthly basis as has been directed by the learned Magistrate.
The learned appellate court in seisin of Criminal Appeal No. 146 of 2023 would stay the proceedings. However, the next date has been fixed on 02.09.2023. The learned sessions court itself may hear the appeal or if it is of the opinion that the same should be delegated to some other Sessions Judge, in that case all efforts be taken so that by 30.11.2023, the appeal is disposed of by the learned appellate court. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2560 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
