The allegation in the present petition is that one Hazi Meat Shop of Sonarpur Gorkhala at 10th Ward of the Sonarpur Police Station is flouting all the norms and causing nuisance to the general public.

The submission of the counsel for the petitioner is that though the complaint in this regard has been made but till now no action has been taken, once such complaint is filed along with the petition as annexure P1. Learned counsel for the respondent no.7 does not dispute that the responsibility lies with the respondent no.7 to examine such a grievance.

Hence, we give an opportunity to the petitioner to file a fresh detailed comprehensive representation/ complaint along with all the relevant materials before the respondent no.7.

On receiving such representation/complaint the respondent no.7 will give

a due opportunity of hearing to the concerned Meat Shop owner and the complaint and will take a decision in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, probably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of representation/complaint. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
