first, in respect of the criminal case, wherein, after conclusion of investigation in connection with Shibpur P.S. Case No. 84 of 2022 dated 29.03.2022, charge-sheet dated 07.06.2025 has been submitted before the learned jurisdictional court keeping the provision of Supplementary Charge-Sheet open.

Secondly, so far as the

disciplinary proceedings are concerned, the proceedings presently are being conducted by the Assistant commissioner of police, Central-I, Division Howrah Police Commissionerate.

In view of the same continuing and the petitioner expressing his anxiety, I direct that the concerned authority would conclude the disciplinary proceedings preferably within a period of three months.

On such conclusion, the concerned authority would be at liberty to take steps as they deem fit and proper.

The outcome of the disciplinary proceedings be communicated to the petitioner within a period of 15 days from the date of conclusion of such proceedings.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 17333 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Needless to state that this court has only gone into the merits for disposal of the writ petition. So far as the criminal case and/or disciplinary proceedings are concerned, the learned Magistrate and/or the Disciplinary Authority will independently arrive at their own findings respectively without being influenced by any of the observations made by this Court.

Reports so submitted be kept with the record.
