Gomes ... for the State The Superintendent of Police, Basirhat Police District has filed a report dated 20.09.2022 in terms of the directions passed by this Court on 16.09.2022. Mr. Raja Saha, learned counsel for the State has placed a report of the S. P. in detail and the compliance of the order dated 16.09.2022.

This Court records relief and satisfaction on both, the report and steps taken to comply with the aforesaid order.

It is submitted that the principal accused, one Yusuf Ali Molla @ Hansa has been apprehended on 17th September, 2022 and is in jail custody.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the said Yusuf Ali Molla has secured bail in other matters. Steps shall be taken for seeking cancellation of such bail by the concerned I.O. of the Police Station. It is submitted that a police camp has been located inside the house of the petitioner under the

supervision of the S. P. himself. The duration of the camp is left to the discretion of the S. P.

Except in respect of one FIR of Minakhan Police Station, charge sheets have been filed in all other FIRs. The petitioner may take steps before the competent court for clubbing trials into the FIRs before one court.

It is expected that the trial into the charge sheets already filed are completed expeditiously after they are put for committal immediately.

The report of the S.P. is kept with the record. Copy of the same be made available to counsel for the petitioner.

The charge sheets in which the petitioner was the de facto complainant shall be made available to the petitioner.

This Court records appreciation of the role played by the S. P., Basirhat Police District pursuant to orders of this Court.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
