Mr. Ratnadip Chatterjee ......for the petitioner in person Mr. Amal Kr. Sen, ld. AGP Mr. Lalmohan Basu .......for the State The writ application has been preferred by the petitioner (in person) praying for his due salary from the respondent no. 3 and also the inaction of the respondent no. 2.

It appears that the petitioner has approached the respondent no. 2, the Labour Commissioner at Barrackpore, Labour office with his grievance, by way of a representation on 05.12.2023.

It is submitted that till date the authority concerned has not acted upon his representation. On hearing the parties and considering the materials on record the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the Joint Labour Commissioner of Barrackpore, shall consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of 60 days from the date of communication of this order.

The Joint Labour Commissioner shall also be at liberty to place the matter before an appropriate officer who shall ensure that the petitioner's

grievance is looked into and while doing so shall be at liberty to ensure the attendance of the respondent no. 3, office bearers, who also have a local address as follows, being one of the two addresses provided in the cause title of the writ application:- "Integra Life Science Pvt.

Ltd./B4124/775, Akra Krishna Nagar, Burtolla, Rabindra Nagar, Kol-700007."

The officer concerned may invoke the powers as in the Civil Procedure Code and also take the assistance of the local police station, if deemed necessary to ensure the presence of the respondent no. 3.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the Joint Labour Commissioner, Barrackpore, respondent no. 2 and the Inspector-in-Charge, Barrackpore for their information and necessary action.
