The petitioner says that he has been framed. He is innocent. He did not commit any offence. He is in custody for 114 days. Investigation is complete. Charge sheet has been filed. There is no reason to detain him further in custody. Learned Advocate for the State while opposing the prayer for bail draws to our attention the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The girl vividly narrates the alleged incident. The medical report also supports the version of the victim girl.

In view of the prima facie incriminating evidence against the petitioner, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

CRM (DB) 2142 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.
