Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, some of the co-accused were granted anticipatory bail by the Jurisdictional Court. In answer to a quiry from the Court, she submits that the petitioners are not aware about the whereabouts of the husband.

Heard the learned advocate appearing for the State. The husband is absconding. The petitioners are the near relatives of the husband and claim to be unaware of the whereabouts of the husband.

Considering the materials in the case diary and the involvement of the petitioners therein and considering the fact that the husband is yet to participate in the investigation, it would be appropriate not to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM 7246 of 2021 is dismissed.
