Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of information dated 17.06.2024 addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Marishda Police Station, no effective steps were taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that over the information so furnished on July, 2024 by the petitioner, Marishda P.S. Case No. 259 of 2024 dated 11.07.2024 was registered against the private respondent nos. 4 and 5.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos. 4 and 5 denies and disputes the accusations made in the writ petition and submits that the private respondents have been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case. Having regard to the fact that police authorities have taken steps pursuant to the information so furnished, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. If the petitioner is

aggrieved by any action of the investigating agency/police authorities, she will bring the same to the notice of the jurisdictional court already in seisin of the issue. If there is any sort of insecurity, the same may also be canvassed before the jurisdictional court. Jurisdictional court will assess the genuinity of the threat perception and thereafter pass necessary directions under the relevant provisions of law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 17373 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
