Heard the learned counsels for the parties.

Perused the case diary.

It appears that the petitioner allegedly misrepresented before the de-facto complainant that he was a Officer of the Irrigation Department and took about Rs. Twelve and Half Lakhs and odd for giving him a job. As per the State, there are other criminal cases registered against the present petitioner and there are other victims to this kind of cheating committed by the present petitioner. In view of the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
