This is an application filed under Section 401 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for quashing the proceeding initiated under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act in Case No. C/7409/2007 in the Metropolitan Magistrate, 3rd Court. Calcutta On perusal of the application, the impugned Order and other materials on record, it appears that exercise of jurisdiction under Section 482 read with Section 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the instant revisional application stands dismissed on merit.
