CRR No. 2809 of 2024 In Re: Sajal Guha Ms. Devi Priya Mitra ... For the Petitioner Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of Complaint Case no. 113 of 2020 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas the matter may be considered without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that evidence of the complainant is complete and the next date fixed for examination of the accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is 13th December, 2024.

In view of the stage of the proceedings before the learned Magistrate, learned Magistrate is directed to dispose of the case within two months from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR 2809 of 2024 is disposed of.
